Anyone have this problem, too? I guess it's not so much of a rattle as a buzz. It drives me nuts. Any idea on how to keep the mirror, but lose the rattle?

heh, one day itll fall off and u wont have to worry about it! lol

try some rubber bushings or something, dunno. just wedge something in there that isnt too ugly to stop it from vibrating

Did you see if there is a screw that tightens or loosens to hold the mirror on? Try tightening it if there is one... If not, I agree with Nathan. Rubber bushing work wonders to absorb the vibrations but aren't that appealing.

ahh, i miss my system.......i had problems with rattling mirrors in other peoples cars :P

the set screw he's talking about really only holds the mirror to the windshield........doesn't do a whole lot about vibrating. once it starts vibrating real bad you dont have much hope without making a permanent fix to it.

try a search, this topic has been discussed a few times, came up with some decent ideas too :)

So all I can really do it tighten the screw? My mirror stays pointed in the right direction, so I don't think the superglue trick will help me. That's what I came up with via search.

oh well if it stays pointed in the same direction then try the set screw on the windshield, that might be your culprit

If your rear view mirror rattles.. then that's a sign that it may be too loud.. how ever that isn't always the case.. I can see my rear view mirror vibrate with just the stock unit.. so I don't know.

gorilla glue then tighten screw... or just don't use base. :)

I dont even have much bass compared to alto fo ppl with subs, and on top of that I only have 1 functioning sub because the other died in storage. The buzz sounds like its from the inside of the housing and not where the mirror meets the windshield.

I know what you mean, and while it is rattling if you squeeze the mirror it stops. Can't really tell you what to do, mine do it as well, but just when I've got the subs going
