I was just wondering if it is safe to screw down amp/sub on the drivers side of the trunk, since I know you can accidently screw into something you don't want to, like a brake line or something.

you should be fine but when drilling the wholes dont go to for, might hit the gas tank.

or better yet cut a piece or plywood or MDF and cover it with automotive carpet or vinyl, then screw into that so you arent drilling into your trunk.
