I've always hated the chrome around my grills, so I decided to paint them. At first...I was gonna go with black. But...I decided to do something different first. I painted the chrome part to match my car. Well..It's pretty close. It's a rush job, but I can do them over again.
What do ya think. Burgundy..or Black?

They are still black. It's just the chrome that is now burgundy.

Thanks for the feedback guys/gals.
I took it a step further by painting my lower mesh the same color. But I don't think I'll show that picture. It's pretty cheezy looking.

Hmmm.... Should have lightened it a LITTLE bit, and matched with painting the black grill, and would look pretty good imo. :)

it definitly looks good! I like what you have done to it. I also like the mesh now that it matches your car. Actually just an idea if you think the mesh being the same color as your car is cheesy you could always paint it black to match your grill and head lights. Just thought i would throw that in there . :) keep up the good work

Whats your main color scheme anyway? Maroon/black? Should paint it gloss black if so.

or paint black and paint a red rim like the top grills.

I'm thinking Gloss Black. Dunno? I'll mess around some more when the temperature goes up a bit more.

yea... the gloss black with the red trim around each visible hole would look nice and would match your car. but i donno how that'd look

:agree: Looks much better! Now you should tint your fogs if you paint the bottom grill black.

Hmm painted grills? Not sure i care for the idea,lol,j/k the lip looks good and i would paint the bottom black to match.

Yeah, best if you paint the lower grill black. gloss black would be best.
