starting car

When i start my car, there is a clicking noise coming from inside the dash. I have no clue what it could be. I don't think it used to happen, but i used to not have subwoofers and an amp. Does anyone know what this is or if it is bad and what to do about it.

... the only problem I remember people having in regards to 'clicking' behind the dash is with the 'signal light flasher relay' :shrug:

Yeah kelly is right, only clicking would be a relay. Only relay that i know of that would be loud enough is that turn signal one behind the hazard button.

Just kick it :shrug: it usaully works.... haahh just playin!!!! um.... that sounds about right.. for awhile i was wondering why my dash was clicking too. it was just my headlights/foglights going on and off(auto). I dunno.... just my story

yep the fog and headlight relays are in the passenger side fuse box so the ticks would be coming from over there, just fyi for those who dont know and hear wierd clicks. Your car isnt haunted afterall :lol:

Yeaht thats weird.... I had that a few months ago.... But mine would not click once or twice it would be all the time.... it sounde like it was behind the cd player.... it went away after about 3-4 weeks. but it sure got on my nerves!

Also my signal sometimes goes a little weird.... I would sometimes signal right and it will go real fast like i have a signal light out but i know i haven't because i have checked it (more than once).... This only happens every now and then but anybody know what it could be?

Sounds dumb, but are your four ways on? I know a kid that drove for about a week with his freaking hazards on before he found out what the clicking was. :lol: at him.

Haha! That is funny but no there not on.........

Not only that but the Signal sound can be slower or faster then hazard signals being on.....

As for my signal, only when i make a right turn the signal sometimes click faster then normal! but on the outside of the car its flashing normal speed... but as i said itonly dos it sometimes..
