Prices are not set since I have not yet found suppliers for the system components; but if there's enough interest I'll do it!
-Matthew
p.s. these are the same as the ones Kieth offered; see the Fall 2005 CAI post he made. He used different suppliers than I will (he used people local to him) so prices will probably be a little different. Otherwise they'll be the same and I don't know what colors the connectors will be.

With all do respect, I hope that you didn't just copy my kit, use different suppliers and call it your own?:???:

Apologies for the delay; I've been busier than a one legged man in an @$$kicking contest lately.
ok hmm, i gotta hit the drawing board and see what I can come up with; I'm not sure how different I can make them since there's very little room for another way to do a CAI in regards to v6 grand ams.
As far as the 2.4s go I'd like to but I would need a car to test-fit stuff on and all.
Or maybe Keith would do another run if there's interest? If I remember right he mentioned he might not do it again so I figured I'd carry the torch for affordable CAIs that's not a modified civic intake or something of the sort.
This will need to be with my own design, and I'm not sure how to do it exactly; wish this was easier to work out.
Anyway, until further notice the whole project is backed up until I a) get my own design; or b) figure 'screw it'

Meh... there's not very many different ways to do it.. just look at how complicated the single tube one is for the ebay CAI.. the 3 piece is a Dr Speed one, and Keith's is quite similar. Unless you have his in your hand and look at Keith's pictures, then you're not really coping him. But I suggest a 3 piece style one, unlike the 3 piece on ebay.. just dont look @ pictures when you do it, so technically you're not copying :p

To my understanding, Keith is ok with me making them so long as he gets credit; which I give him a lot of credit and appreciation for offering an alternative to homeade and drspeed intakes while he did!
He also spent a lot of time into making them, not only in the production runs he made, but also in developing them, so in regards to thanking somebody, thank him.
I'm just doing this to keep an EXCELLENT alternative to the beforementioned intakes available to fellow GrandAm enthusiasts.
In regards to 3.1 applications, I assume you're talking about a pre-1999 GA... I remember Keith said something about sending an extra elbow piece or something... hmmm... if you're out there it'd be appreciated for what the guy needed if you remember.
In regards to prices, these were Keith's (min. of 3 orders), but depending on price of fabrication (I don't have a bandsaw so all the tubing will be finished up at the metal shop if I can find one) may alter the price a little.
*quoted from the 2005 thread*
Complete Kit: $160 + $15 shipping to US ($20 to Canada)
Kit w/out filter: $105 + $10 shipping to US ($15 to Canada)

p.s. in regards to 'payment deadline' dates, or whatever, I'm still unsure about the ins and outs of it, since I'll need to check for suppliers and all that yet.
I'll keep you guys updated more often now; and once again many thanks to Keith!

I have the intake off, today (well later today, it's 1230am) I'll be pricing connectors and fabrication costs! That is if I have time, since I need to run down to college to do some paperwork.
Well have a great time, and remember, be nice to our site supporters!

After considerable time involved, getting the bends fabbed up and all, it's cost prohibitive for me to do a run of the CAIs designed by Keith. I have the measurements and everything if somebody wants to make their own, so long as Keith gets the credit for making them. So with this, perhaps somebody with a suitable saw for cutting the intake tubing (since you can buy bends off ebay for a reasonable price) or ok with putting the price up a bit (due to having a guy cut the tubing and not myself), may make a few for the GA community.

You know, I can pick this up, but I don't know what Keith's CAI would look like, and the CAI would look just like mine, I'll get a picture of it...it sounds BAD A$$. My friend told me it's the best one he's heard in a while, and he's worked on Honda's, Acura's, Nissan's and the sort.
People think I have a turbo on my car.
and if I do pick it up, it'd be cheaper than the $160/105...
Oh and I didn't have to do any modifications to my body for my Cold air intake in the 94-95 3100's.
