Maybe if you had some kind of remote oil cooler or transmission cooler installed, you could use it to help cool your drivetrain.

...Or maybe you could put in in the interior to cool yourself and chuck your AC system for a few more ponies.:D

I bought aftermarket cooling fans that come with generic mounting hardware so you could literally mount them to anything. I'm not sure the size or width of the stock civic fan or what type of mounts it uses. If you could get it to work, it would make a killer low budget mod. Is it a push or pull fan?:???:

If it was mounted between the radiator and motor it's a puller.
Turn that bad boy around, mount it in front of the radiator to a toggle switch and make it a pusher. USe it on those extra warm days etc.

Good call. If you wire through the batery itself as a pusher, you can even use it in the staging lanes to get your engine nice and cool for your next run. Make sure you test it wile it is running to find out how many amps it draws so you can buy a strong enough toggle. Or you can use a $5.00 relay from Radio Shack and use a cool Mini switch to turn it on. Either way fuse the line so in case something goes wrong or shorts, you don't drive home smelling like melted plastic.
