shipping a hood

Does anyone know the best way to ship a hood? As an example, going from Michigan area , to Massachusetts. What kind of carrier would someone use, and does anyone know roughly how much it cost?
I tried to calculate on a website, but it required the actual weight of it... I have no idea about how much a hood weighs.

... call a GM dealer and ask them who they use ... personally, I think a courier MIGHT be a little too rough but a transport company might be too much ... whatever you do, make sure the seller packages it VERY WELL!!!!! :)
