Stop the noise!

I can't seem to find any threads on this.... Hopefully someone knows the answer.

My 99 Grand Am has developed some serious squeaks and rattles in the cabin. Most notably, the plastic housings around the seat belt.

Is there a product out there that I can buy that will quiet this thing down? Turning the radio up to full volume will only work for so long. :)

My dad's 99 is squaking and rattling everywhere...i can't even ride in the car because i feel like i'm gonna have a nervous breakdown when i get out of it.

i think you'l just have to put up with it....

mine pops and squeeks just a little bit but thats when i turn up the music :P

you are talking about the plastic seatbelt covering that is down by the floor? Make sure it's pushed all the way down (towards the floor), put a piece of foam in it, or take the plastic covering off :-)

I have a 99 and i dont have any rattles or squeaks.

my 93 rattles when it warms up in summer, the plastic expands on the dash. i shove some cardboard between the windshield and the dash, works great and no more noise.

I have a rattle... but i look on the floor of my car and notice my ratchet set on there and 'meh' it off. lol
