Squeaking Sound

OK, so I'm driving around to the store and decide to park. Well in the middle of parking I hit one of those concrete parking blocks, which I was not expecting, as it was in the MIDDLE OF THE SPOT. :2up: So mad at myself for not paying attention. I hit it far enough that when I backed out off it there was a slight thump, thump. Now when I start it up there's a squeaking, eek, eek, noise that wasn't there b4. I looked under the car and the raidiator looks fine...so how bad is this? thanx

It could be sooooo many things. A good guess would be that it shifted the engine a little under the car. A temp thing more than most likely moved back. But loosened up your serp belt a little. Just a guess??? I would be able to help you more if I caould hear it, see it etc.


If you have a Jack, jack it up and see if you can tell from under the car what got scratched up. Your starter could have been knocked out of whack etc. etc. I hope that you find the problem. If worse comes to worse get it serviced.
