nice install, but if i were you and already did that much work, i would flush mount the amp to completely hide all wires

and they make wipes for these kinds of things!

clean that up! ;) lol

Nice, Joe! That looks really good. I agree with the flush mount, tho. It looks great now, but if you can flush that into the box, oooooohhhhh baby would it be sexy! :P

I've been taking about getting new subs but these still work great and they hit pretty hard so I've been putting it off since these still work so well.

Well I've had them for a while now. I actually bought them off someone who bought them new, then never installed them for a while, then I never installed them for about a year and finally got around to it last summer. They were in a regular box untill anout 3 weeks ago. heres my old box.....

That's the same box I had for my 10s, which I switched out for 1 12inch cuz that box is so big (and kinda ugly). Your new setup is much better looking. I have to agree that you should put in the extra work to flush mount the amp.

looks greta Joe. i think it looks 2 different colors is cause of the 'grain' or way the carpet is laid. like if you rub your hand against it one way it might be closer.

doesnt matter tho its freggin great :D

How far off of the floor did you have to raise that up like that? and did you keep any of the plans for it?

I guess the floor is about a little less then a foot from the bottom, and I never had any plans for it. I actullay bought the box from someone and rebuilt it to the way I wanted.

Very nice install. Clean. A question, to anyone. what is the best way to cut the 'board' around the contour of the fender and wheel wells? I need to get off my butt and do my trunk before show season starts in a couple weeks. :lol

Also, where is your tail light trim pieces? ;)

The tail light pieces were off for a while, I actually put them on the day after I did my trunk.
