my buddy is looking for a car, naturally i suggested a grand am. so i found one thats in his price range.

the facts I know for sure about this car are:
2000 se 4 door, blue/teal color, 2.4 twin cam, 98,000 miles looks and sounds to be in good if not better condition (no paint scrapes,chips anything to that nature)...
no sunroof/no spoiler
power windows, doors, mirrors.
cd player (factory)
its on factory pontiac rims... not hubcapped uglies.

so is this an se1 or 2 or just an se? (i thought i knew these, and i thought there were some option lists, but i cant find them and the one i did find didnt exist :(

they want 4900 for it, but they said if it was cash they would take just about any offer.

Sounds like a base SE with some options (CD Player, rims). The fact there it is a 4-cylinder means it's not an SE2, no spoiler means it's not an SE1.

Before buying, check the condition of the waterpump which is known for early failure on the 2.4L TwinCam.
