Tail Light Circuit Board

Ok you know when you pull out your tail light to change a bulb they all sit in a cheap plastic board? Well on my driver side the socket for the brake light is melted and it burns out my brake light once every 2 weeks...

anyways I called GM about getting it replaced...Guess how much they wanted for that plastic board? FKING $130.00!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sorry... Anyways Can I get it from somewhere else? I am tired of replacing my brake light...

Samething with mine except pass side. Called gm wanted 124.00, I almost droped the phone, I told him it was to expensive and he offored to bring it down to 100.00. I went to the junk yard and i got them to sell me just the circuit board and not the whole light. They charged me 30.00 plus tax, not to bad.

Well get one from a junk yard.. You dont have to have new.. whos going to see that PCB anyway? I'd go junk yardin if I were you.

Perfect idea, Thankyou! I love my grandam so much I wanna do everything to keep it in tiptop conditon. I have 170,000KM on it and it still runs like new. Sure it may have some problems but I wouldnt trade it for any car.

i had the same problem well sorta mine had corroded inside so i got new ones and put some dilectric grease on them.. no problems now! :-D
