radiator fans run with car off

My car has only did this like 3 times, but what causes it to do it. Each time it does happen my car is in or below the normal area. The fans run for like 15sec then stop. Also has anybody had the fans turn on when they were working on their car.

I have a DHP PCM which is programmed to turn the fan on at key off if the coolant temp is above 180 but thats as much as i no.

Yup. Under certain conditions (high coolant temp, IAT temp, etc) the PCM will run the fans after the car is shut off. Even the older GA's do it... I know my 94 has already in summer.

Wow i didnt know they made one for your year.

But yeah nothing to worry about, its normal.
