2003 Grand AM GT

I just bought a 2003 Grand AM GT, Rd in color it has 46,000 miles on it.Are there any problems with this car I should know about?I love it it has tons of horsepower and rides really nice.

The major problems you may have with the car are:

Lower intake manifold leak. Do a search and you'll find a ton of information on it. It is a major problem in all the 3x00 motors.

I think the water pump sucks too, but I haven't had a problem yet so I don't know for sure.

That's the only big problems you may have. Other than that it's just minor stuff that every car will have. :)

Hey welcome to the club!

I bought my '03 SC/T about a year and half ago with 17,500 miles on the OD. Today it has over 62,000 miles with only two problems. The first was of course the blower motor resistor at 35,000 miles and a blown seal on the drivers brake caliper at 53,000 miles. Besides that I've had zero problems with the car.

Window motors, front rotors like to warp like a bugger, the previously mentioned LIM leak and HVAC blower resistor, thats all about I think of right now.

WINDOW MOTORS!! haha yeah i have 20,000 on my car and both windows go up like shit already i took it in to get i fixed cause of the warrenty but they r teh same. dumb idiots. expecially on cold days!! but i will take it back again. but other then that mine is good.
