Broken fuel line

my little brother has a 95 achieva, and he came out of a convienence store today to find gas all over the ground under his engine, the tow truck guy came and had the fire department come due to the gas on the ground, they said its a broken fuel line where the rubber meets the metal.

Question any of you 3100 guys experiance a problem like this? Kind f wierd for a 95 to have a bad fuel line.

Well there are alot of things that can cause depending what is has been threw but I never had a problem. other than dry rot

see im thinking faulty construction, there is no way he should have dryrotted lines on a 95. no way!
