Regional Sections Reorganized

I have finally taken some time to reorganize the Regional Meet sections (http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=47) of the Forums. We have reduced the overall number of individual sections, and I hope this better represents the various regions with less confusion.

Some existing discussions will have to be sorted around, but for the most part I think everything is organized nicely.

Our next step will be to get rid of the redundant Grand Am Gatherings (http://www.gaownersclub.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=109) section, as it has done nothing but cause confusion. I'll probably take a stab at that early next week.

That is great! Too many sections to surf! I remember when you had the survey of did we need a different section for each model and engine type; I still think "no"...

Yeah, I sill believe we have too many sections. I'm torn... Part of me wants the forums streamlined, the other wants posts organized so you can find exactly what you're looking for with minimal effort.

The engine-specific sections may be next up on the chopping block, but that will be decided via membership vote yet again.

... I'd leave the engine sections alone dude ... they seems to be flowing well ... only change over there, IMO, would be to get rid of the little engine pictures ... I used to like them but have grown tired of them ... if we had them 'all' it might be different ... no big deal either way ... just adding my 2 cents (or 1.5 cents, whatever :D)

OK, I couldn't wait. The redundant 'Grand Am Gatherings' section has been removed, and all it's posts have been relocated to the appropriate regional section. Phew! That was a lot of work. :)

Can we get an Alaskan Region (Great Northwest) We are all alone up here and I am trying to get a group started, would feel more like family if we were listed!!! (Dont know how long it will take me to get a bunch of new members though!)
