I showed up at the track as soon as it opened...waited for the engine to cool down a bit. It was quite windy. I had to tie down the hood when I had it propped open cause the wind was picking up the Cf hood and lifting it off the hood prop. (When it was open) Eventually I parked facing downwind.
My first run of the day:
15.134 @ 88.71 MPH

My personal best. :D
Now last year I ran a 15.209 @ 89.51
That was with the Dr.Speed Cold Air Box and MSD Wires. I also had less than 1/4tank of gas.
Today I had 1/3 a tank of gas, and it was warmer than when I ran the 15.2.
Why the faster time?
I think the only reasonable explanations are...
- A slightly better 60ft (2.269 last year -- 2.222 today)
- My CF hood shedding a bit of weight
- The Ported and Polished Mass Air-Flow sensor
But yea...I was running consistant 15.2's all day long...My second best run was a 15.190 @ 88.05
A fantastic way to start off the season.
I can't wait till I add exhaust and other mods!
