Different mirrors?

On my '97 GAGT, the passenger side view mirror was knocked off buy the neighborhood kids playing hockey :roll2: So I was wondering if the dual-piller style mirrors from a Grand Prix would be able to fit on there instead? I really like the look of 'em, just not sure if it's possible. Thanks!

They won't fit. If I remember correctly the bolt pattern is off from your holes.

Its a little more than that.. I test fit a 99+ one on a 96-98GA inthe junk yard the other week, the triangle base part is entirely different, you can make them fit, but it will not be direct.. it'd involve fiberglass at the very least.

Eh.. oh well, I was just trying to find a way to get a body-matched (color wise) mirror, instead of the flat black, and I don't care for the overall "bulkiness" of the stock ones.. know of any decent aftermarket ones?

they dont make any directly, but the 92-95 accord mirrors fit without too much modification, but dont look quite right IMO as they are. you can see a pic or two of my car when i had them at my cardomain link. right now im working on fiberglassing my set to look better.. Ill have pics up when theyre done.

The stock mirrors are painted matte black for the SEs and Gloss black for the GTs. If you just take the mirror, sand it, prime and paint it body color it would work just as well.

There goes my idea of hooking my 97 GT up with the 99 GT mirros. Crap!
