How To Widen Gap?

I want to widen the gap for my windows, as to try and prevent any more scratches from appearing. Anyone know how to do it? anything will be helpful! thanx!

I do believe the scratches issues cant be fixed. What happens is there's a catch/sill to stop the water, dust, sand, etc from going to the bottom of the door or whatever, and it gets sand in there, and you put your window down, and tada, scratches. I dont know what you can do to fix that, other than cleaning that catch/sill. I've got alot of scratches on my window too, but its all on the outside :)
