Not good!!!

Someone broke into my car the other night!!! They stole my subs, amp, some CD's and my baseball batbag. They tried getting my deck, but were not able to. But, in the process of trying the cracked my dash. They even took the change out of my cup holder! Yeah I'm pissed about the subs and amp...but I was really pissed about my bat bag. I had two pairs of cleats, my glove and a pair of batting gloves. The glove cost about $300 and I'm starting baseball and softball this week. Anyone really understand how hard it is to break a glove in? But there is some good news. After I filed a police report...I was on my way to work...driving down the road I see a shoe...then another shoe. So, I pulled over (almost causing and accident) and there were one pair of my cleats, my glove, and the batting gloves. The punks must have realized there was nothing to pawn off in the pag so they dumped it. At least I got some things back. But I still have no base, a cracked dash, and the feeling of being violated. What the hell is wrong with people?

Dude that ****ing sucks.. I hate jerkoffs who break into other peoples cars. If I catch someone breaking into my car I'll kill em.. no bars held.. I'll do it. It's screwed up that people cant afford shit so they have to steal other peoples stuff. Any pictures of the damage?

Yeah..I have a few but I haven't gotten them off the camera yet. I will post them when I do. I'm not sure about the insurence. I'm going to call them today and see what can be done. I'm actually going to the pawn shop on lunch to see if anything is there.

I feel you man, I had a group of kids break into my house, they got a laptop, xbox, ps2, and my xbox 360 (which I paid double for so that i could get it in early december) a shitload of games and a handful of otherstuff.

luckilly they sold it all at the local gamestop store and the cops were able to recover it all... but still, it happened like 2 months ago and i still feel violated.

I too just got my car broken into, I know it sucks ass -- but all you can do is pick up the pieces and move on. Also, I bet you are stoked about getting your glove back, I know it took me 2 full seasons to get my old glove the way I wanted it, and if anyone touched it I yelled at them. I know how it is between a man and his glove, be it an outfield, infielder, pitcher, catcher, anyone. I hope the glove didnt get too messed up when they threw it on the ground!

that sucks that they stole your system man. i would be pissed if they got mine. my box is huge though, it takes me about 10-15 minutes to menuever it out. Hopefully you'll find the *******s who stole your stuff.

naw...the glove is fine. When they threw it out the window...it landed in grass.

The next system I put in there is never coming out. I plan on either chaining it down or wielding a bar from the tire well to the top where my 6x9's are. At this point, I really don't care if it will look like crap.

i know the feeling i hate people who do this crap, but an idea for the system if you dont have fold down seats mount the amp to the back of the box, remove your backseats and bolt it down from behind thats what i did.

Nice...i never thought of that. I think that's what I will do, well, when I get some money now to buy a new system. I do have an old 6 ch PPI amp (I think it's a PC650) that I fried a few years ago. I really don't know what is wrong with it, but I did take it apart and I did notice one of the chips that span both sides of the board is cracked. Off the top of my head, I forget what it is called, but I do have a part no. for it some place.

I know the feeling, when someone broke into my car, i didnt even notice it till i opened the door. someone popped my lock on my passenger door and destroyed my radio bezel, tore my leather shift knob, and let me say that i never knew that a hazard button and ets switch could be in so many pieces. the irony of the whole thing is that I think they used my craftsman tool kit that i had sitting in the back seat. my insurnace covered it, though the feeling sucks. i feel for ya.....

well man, this will just prepare you for the future... my alarm has a prox sensor, so if you even get close.. then bam.. it tells ya.. as for your other stuff, that sucks.. but you should be all MP3 these days anyways.. which is best cause ya can just rip a new one.. LOL.. next time, some wire around your deck case, some torx, square, phillips, w/ differnt sizes will ensure your sub/amp will never get stolen.. all my systems are screwed into the truck.. you'd have to have 5 different bits to get it out.. (plus my secret tamper proof fellas).. so.. just that will ensure your system will stay in.. but i feel ya man.. i got my truck broke into once.. never again!

thats what i did magyver you get all types of fasteners anddifferent sizes and i say if you take your time and get it out ill congradualte them cuz its a pain for me and i have a the bits.
