Looking to find some GAOC members who reside in the eastern end of LI. Maybe we could have a small get-together. I have not met anyone on this site in person yet.

If you had a meet more toward Western LI Like maybe the Hempstead area, I would come, I could prolly get a few others. People have tryed to put together a LI meet a few times but its never very organized and never works out. Ill keep checking this for updates.

Well, it doesn't matter where on LI your located, as long as your willing to take the ride out east for the meet.

Or we could find a place between our locations. Kind of a median point.

I never said anyting about being from LI. I said if you had a meet closer to western LI I might come. Under my avatar you'll read that I'm from yonkers. So right away we notice Im not from LI:) Its takes me about an hour to get to the Hempstead area and wouldnt really want to travel to much further then that. It also depends on the size of the meet, we'll have to wait and see how many people wanna come.

I didn't even look there. I'm stupid. I've gone up to the Yonkers area quite often, so if there are a good amount of members up by you, I would be willing to make the trek up there and have a meet closer to you.

Im going to be with Jay (black2kgt) this weekend, and he's always up for a meet so Ill see what he says. The only problem I see is theres this weekend, then the next, after that I already have car shows planned for like the next 3 or 4 weekends in a row. Then Im going out of town the weekend after that, then theres 2 more car shows. Long story short, My schedual is packed untill july :( Maybe if you schedual somthing for mid july it will make time for people to take the time off and whatever and we can have a pretty decent sized event. I was possibly planning a meet in my area for mid july so if you guys want to do that I will. Ill get more details this week if people are interested. Let me know.

I dont know if anyone has noticed or not though Joe from Yonkers is trying to get a meet together for the ECM club. I dont know if its just me or not, though are those who are members and live in LI afriad to drive? I have seen so many people talk about doing a meet, or a get together and nothing is ever done. No dates are thrown out and nothing ever comes of it. Here is a situation where there will be a meet in lower NY and has official dates. if you want to meet other members from the site, you do need to drive as well. I mean its not like your driving to the albany show which for me myself is 3 hours......I mean come on, make a weekend out of it and come meet some of the members from the club...trust me its a blast....
