We tested the sentra as well, not a bad car and at a very good price...

A Red Special Edition-Power Locks and Windows, Cruise, A/C, Floor mats, Auto.

The Special Edition includes- Appearance Package:???: (dont look any different:lol: ) and upgraded stereo- 6 Disc changer all fed through 6 speakers with sub..:D   :P

Price: 15,580 Plus... Rebates from the dealership... A very good deal, but personally i like the Corolla better.

I drove them for Nissan when I worked at a dealership... I thought they were hunks of junk. But hey, that's my opinion.

the only good sentra is an 02 SE-R spec-v and Ive heard even those have their own problems, but much better quality than the econo sentras.

I myself drove one (an 00 XE base model, super cheapo) for about a year, and it wasn't too bad of a car, and I could beat hondas with some good shifting. Overall its a good starter car but I stay away from them now

Aka the "Rockford Fosgate Audio Fanatic package" - it's not worth the upgrade cost, although it sounds decent for an OEM stereo. If you ever want to change anything, say just the headunit, you're pretty much forced to replace everything else and run your own wiring. That's the boat I'm in... thankfully I didn't purchase the car new. BTW, the "Rockford Fosgate" parts are actually made by Clarion... apparently the only involvement RF had was the design of the amp itself and their logo stamped on that Clarion HU & sub cone.

It's an econobox. They are what they are. But, at least Nissan seems to have wiring down. No dumb electrical gremlins.. *cough*GM*cough*

The early-year 2002's were the worst ones actually. Throw some locktite on the secondary butterfly screws and ditch the stock manifold/pre-cat for headers and the QR25DE isn't bad.
