Difference Between SE Tail and GT Tail

I dont know and I want to know what it is. I was at the junk yard and I asked the lady about replacing a bad tail light on 96 GT well she asked me if I had an SE or GT.. and I told her it didn't matter because I thought the tail lights were the same? Well are they or arent they? I thought these were the same for these years. Which brings me to my real question whats the difference between and SE Tail light and a GT Tail light on a 99+ GA?

92-95 and 99+ have different SE/GT tails. 96-98 got the same tails whether you got an SE or a GT. Just ask her if it's cheaper to get them from an SE...:D

The difference is that the outer lense on GT tails is clear with a red one inside, where as the SE tails have the red plastic on the outside. That's why you only se GT tails cleared.

For 96-98 their the exact same thing. 92-95 and 99+ thier both different.

I know that the 92-95 have a difference. I know what they look like. Does someone have a side by side shot or coul they make a side by side shot of these 99+ tails to show the difference?

They look very similar from far away but up close you can tell the difference because of the lense...

The SE has black horizontal lines, the GT does not.
