Well I have recently under taken the task of getting rid of the rust on my GA
luckly for me it was just surface rust and was easily taken off with a grinder and sander
i have grinded it down and used bondo to fill in the inperfections and low spots created by doing the grinding
i have never done this much work on any of the cars i have owned
the most ive done is just used rust paint and then spray paint over it with the car color
no this is my plan of atack to make it look good
once im done with the bondo i was going to use a grey rust primer to cover the bondo they just a regular white primer and then the dupli-color white paint then shoot some clear on it
no inbetween the color and the clear im going to wet sand it down to match the rest of the car and then clear and maybe a light sand with a 2000 grit sand paper and then i nice buff
are there any steps im missing to get a nice job until i have the chance to repaint the whole car later this summer
sorry for the long post
thanks
marc
