View Full Version : Mirrors and Badges (Finally) And Damage Shot

Well, yesterday I got the tools to help get the plugs for my door trim out of the door, and a 10mm socket wrench to finally change my mirros. After I put the mirros on I took her for a quick car wash and a cheep spray way / rub job. Then I put the badges on and took a couple shots in the back of the car wash.

I also took a picture of the damage that some spineless bone smoker did to my bumper.

I had to line these up myself, but I think I did a good job.

You might be able to get most of that buffed out, no???

Yes, but the part right below the Ram Air V6 Badge is an actuall paint chip. :(

Hey, how'd you get my car all the way in New Jersey?!

Looks good with the mirrors. I plan on doing that myself. Are you going to get painted to match the body color?

Nah, I thought about it at first, but when I look at it now, and I look at cars that have them painted to match the body.. I just don't think it looks right, mostly because of the black strip that goes around the window.

I love the way it looks,

I like mine black on my dark green car..but I guess it's just a matter of preferance :idunno:

Its worth the $250 to get fixed.
I cant stand modded damaged cars.

Definately paint the mirrors to match.

I wouldnt fix it until youve got spare cash and a sick day coming your way - its not something that needs immediate attention, but if you plan to take your car to any shows anytime you should get it done before then. It doesnt detract from the overall sexiness of the car all that much :D

car looks good and yea, i agree on the style of the side mirrors but i'll be getting mine painted same as the car and i covered the black stripe around the car. that sucks about your bumper, but good thing it can get buffed out, as for the chip....there is always touch up paint :)
