Now that the weather has been nice, i finally got around to taking some good pictures of my car, and cleaning most of the stuff under the hood.

I got this '99 SE2 in 2000 as a leftover, and after some whacko rear-ended me and pushed my car into an SUV, my local body shop was nice enough to install the SC/T hood and RAM Air intake as if i had already had them. (But no, i didnt but on GT bumpers, for some reason i like the SE trim a bit more.)

Then in January sometime i put in the Dr. Speed cold air intake, and a Borla cat-back exhaust system. I had taken pictures of it then, but never got around to posting them up here.

So here they are:

Now here's what it looked like under the hood when i first put in the cold air intake:

And what it looks like now, nice and clean:

If you want to see any more pictures, feel free to look through my whole photobucket account, its almost entirely pictures of my Grand Am. ( http://s48.photobucket.com/albums/f206/Gumpo10k/ )

And just to top it off, since im really proud of the intake and the exhaust, here's a couple videos of me revving it:

Exhaust:

Intake:

Tell me what ya'll think, please.

Looks sweet but thats not a cold Air Intake. it's a Warm Air Intake

It's the "Cold Air Intake Box" from Dr. Speed.

If you look at the rest of the pictures on my photobucket account, you might be able to better see the heatsheild between the intake and the engine, and the plastic tube that pulls air from down around the air dam up into the area where the intake actually sits.

I know its not a true cold air intake, but its definately not a warm air intake either - that little peice of metal goes a long way in keeping the radiant heat away form the intake, i've never been able to feel any heat from the engine on the intakes side of the metal plate. (Im serious, it works REALLY well.)

Thanks for the comments guys.

Brandon, I really like the stock wheels and i dont know why. I've pondered many times getting chrome rims, but i just cant find any i like more then those.
I really do like the extra ripples on the SE trim. I just wish the rear bumper had the same design / cutouts as the GT to accent the exhaust tips better.
