Well my 99 GAGT just had to many $$ leaks to fix...LIM, Head, Etc... I figured while it was still running good I'd get a decent trade in and get a new car.

but I did cross over to the dark side. With all the problems Grandams seem to have I thought I'd try something different...
I went and got a 2006 Mustang....

i dont see why thats a bad thing, nice ride dude :)

i was debating one of those vs an 05 SC/T.. but then I found the 03 GT and fell in love with it... and it's price tag.

Is it six'er? It looks like it, but please correct me if I'm wrong :(

Still a nice car none the less, if all goes well my grand am is going bye bye in favor of an '05 GT or an '03-'04 Mach I this summer.

yah its a V6. the GT was WAY to much on Gas and insurance...with the V6 I can mod it and for about the same cost come close to GT power with out the killer insurance and gas... But I am waiting till my warrenty is up. I dont want to mess with that...

yea, i didnt like the 6's at first untill my friend who has a 5.0 told me how easy it is to make a 6 make just as much as the 8's and prob save some money modding then buying the v8 from the get go...

but yea, i like the color, i dont really like the mustang tag down at the bottom of the doors though

Yeah the sweet thing about the new stangs is every one of them is built to mod on. From the base coupe to the shelby.

And I love the bullitt style rims!

The new ponies are sex on wheels in my opinion!

very nice choice. i wouldnt get a stang unless it was at least GT, but these days the v6 is the most practical. i say screw the warranty and throw a turbo on that bish.

I work at a ford dealer so i drive those alot. There nice cars, and even the V6's have some grunt to them. I hope you got a 5speed though.

Yes I got a 5 speed manual transmission...I had it set in my mind that no matter what car I got it didnt matter as long as it was a 5 speed.

*Turns Traction control off* *Slams it in to first and floors it* WOOOHOOOOO

Nice, I noticed you bbought the V6 with the pony package! I have an 05 GT, myself. Ordered it in November of 04, received it in Februaury of 05. Moderators feel free to edit if you shall; just passing along a forum that is the best on the web for Mustangs if you don't mind -----> Mustang Source (www.themustangsource.com). I'm 05windveilGT on there if you want any suggestion for modding that bad boy shoot me a PM. There is a HUGE amount of aftermarket companies out there for the mustangs. Yeah GAS does suck on the GT, but it's still fun to lay 30 feet of rubber and not give a damn.:D

I want to tint the rear windshield and the two small passenger quarter panels...Not sure about the driver and passenger side windows...I just got a ticket for that in my old grandam so...

After that I plan on a CAI / Tune, then a high performace Exhaust. I want to do duel but I either need to buy the GT rear bumper or notch out a small hole in my bumper to make room for the second muffler...not sure yet.

Just for kicks yesterday I took my brother in laws 2003 Grandam SE and Detailed it for him. Hes HORRID at keeping it clean and I felt sorry for the car.

I gotta admit, a freshly detailed Grandam really shines.

The funny thing is, looking at all the cars at work, the mustang GTs get better milage then about half of what Ford makes (atleast on the window sticker).

yes I don't see why the new ride is a bad thing at all, that stang looks sweet, congrats :)
