i still nave more work to do on the back seat...and the box is carpeted, not painted like i originally planned. what do you all think? this box sounds WAY better than my last install.

also, my KYB GR2 struts are starting to arrive in the mail so ill post pics of those, and i got my projectors aligned right so ill get a pic of that up tonight...stay tuned.

Looks good, Dave. You put a lot of effort into it, and it shows. However, one thing I'd change if it were mine would be to carpet the floor of the trunk to match. Right now it kinds looks like a blck blob sitting in the middle of the trunk, it doesn't seem to flow with anything else. Minor detail, but you've done so much already, might as well go all the way. :thumbup2:

thanks yea i agree. i might dye the carpet black to match...that plastic piece thats where the trunk lid latches down i replaced with the same black carpet. the sun washed it out in the pics...ill get some pics tongiht (also with the red neon...not sure how thatll look.)

they are w6v2 and they are pretty loud. the gain on the amp is all the way off, and my sub level on my head unit is at 5/12. at 10/12 it shakes the rear view to aim at the floor. i have to say that its more than twice as loud as this same setup was in my last install.

as you all can tell im going for less show, but mroe functionality. that old box was way too small,a nd the panels never really fit together all that well. the new box is such a good fit in the tire well, when i pull it out i create a vacuum sucking it back in because there was such little air under the box. it helps keep it in place...that and the weight of the subs.

oh yea and weight is much less now. i must have lost at least 60 lbs by getting rid of so much MDF.
