View Full Version : Someone give me $84k.
Read and drool (http://exotixboard.com/t3124-1995-toyota-supra-rare-hardtop-turbo-1324bhp.html).
Yes you read the title correctly this Supra makes 1,324BHP+ on all boost! No Nitrous used at all. This Supra dynoed 1,128RWHP!
This Supra broke the Street Car record at the Texas Mile blasting through the end of the mile at 201MPH+ without trying. I have a video posted below, you will see that the driver eased out of the starting point and didn't punch it until the 1/2 mile mark. Extremely impressive Supra. If you need to lose a Veyron on your tail, than this is the car!

1 word... WOW, I want, no.. I NEED that. Normally I would be criticizing the GIANT fart can, and the stickers, but when a car is put together that well, and makes THAT much power, there is obviously a need for that size exhaust, and...just, WOW.

Wow does this mean the car is out accelerating a Veyron?!?!?! That is quite something considering the Veyron is quicker from 0-200MPH than a McLaren F1 is from 120-200MPH.
I wonder if it is any more fuel efficient? LOL. Not like this is a consideration but the Veyron literally gets like 2 MPG at WOT.
$84k is an insane bargain too, if it's beating a Veyron which sells for 1 million Euro but actually costs far more to make. But I guess we're comparing a modified car to a production car, which, on at least some level isn't exactly fair.
Also I wouldn't imagine this Supra could produce the downforce or have the aerodynamic and handling characteristics of the Veyron. I could be wrong, but I think there's some reason to believe the Veyron would win in anything other than a straight line.
Another question, can it beat the Veyron's top speed? The Veyron is limited to about 250MPH but can actually go faster, but tyre damage would occur (or something like that) above that speed so it is limited...

wow....just.....wow. :omg:
I'm suprised they didn't go with a twin turbo setup with that...but then again if they did, they'd NEVER keep the tires stuck.
EDIT: After reading up on single vs. twin turbo setups, please disregard my uninformed previous statement :)

I was just getting information on financing a Supra... :)
Also getting information on a Stealth, Del Sol, and possibly a 240sx. The 240 I can straight out buy though.
If you can find a clean MKIV Turbo Supra... wow. I hear they're like $30-$40k. I haven't looked, though.
I'd love to get a MKIII Supra to play with, but it ain't going to happen :(
Mantagreen, I have no idea on how it'd run against a Veyron - I just quoted from the ad. It is making 100+ whp more than the Veyron, and I suspect that it is a bit more aerodynamic too (Gordon Murray, the McLaren F1 designer, said that it's a marvel that they managed to get that fast with that body; the F1 would only need like 800hp instead of 1000hp to get to that speed due to the aerodynamic difference). But I honestly have no idea.

I'm not a big fan of Supra's but that's a lot of power.
But I'd rather have a Twin Turbo Grand National (http://videos.streetfire.net/search/grand+national/0/3BE6651A-70A4-4D4E-8B4B-957F70032277.htm)

dodge stealth? Mitsubushi sold the rights to dodge to use for the 3000gt and they created the stealth... Theyre pretty much the exact same car, My freind has a 3000gt and that things pretty fast...with just a custom CAI and Exhuast he can reach speeds around the 150's not sure of his HP specs though,,, and this is the non turbo version...awesome car
