Deck stain on my White 99' GAGT

Sunday SUCKED I was over at my parents house this weekend and my car was out in the driveway about 20ft away from the deck my Dad didnt tell me he was going to stain the deck and I guess he decided my car was far enough away but it wasnt, later that night on the way home I noticed tha I couldnt get these specks off my wind shield with the washers and whipers. Upon closer inspection I realised that my car had caught a S**TLOAD of overspray of Redwood-colered Deck Stain. I took it to a local Carstar that I deal with regularly and they only charged me $126.00 to buff-out and clay-bar out the stain and poly-coat my car. So all I can say is beware of overspray it sucks but s**t happens.

That happened to me too when I had my '98 Ranger. Our next door neighbor at the time decided he wanted to paint his riding lawnmower outside with the wind blowing. My dark green truck ended up with TONS of overspray of bright red Krylon. I was pissed, but he appologized and payed for me to get it buffed out out a body shop. He was cool about it, so I couldn't stay mad at him.

Damn that sucks man. That exact same thing happened to me with my old white grand prix. The funny part about it though is i traded it in the next day. Sorry Fedor Pontiac :bootyshak
