Maybe it's just me, but I'm not too fond of black rims on a black car. Seems much too morbid for me....too much black. But I'm an old guy here; I maybe don't have the same tastes as most of you younger guys here, lol..

99's are the first gen of the new body style.. Be warned of the problems it probably has/will develop.. I think it looks ok.. I love black rims on black cars but it needs the polished lip.. Otherwise the rims look puny :P

You are not alone. I used to feel the same way. I hated black rims. (cept the old Monza rims I put on a chevette.) :lol:

But now...black rims are growing on me... (not those ones, though) I still prefer chrome, though :D

Just becuase it a 99 dosent mean it will have more problems than 00-05. I have a 99 and its had less problems than most guys with 04's.
