3800 intake manifold

Yes I'm a newb, and yes I did search before posting this........I have a 99 3400 auto, and want to know will a intake manifold and throttle body off of a 3800 fit, and has anyone else done this? I want to P&P the 3400, but if I can get a 3800 for the same price, I need to know if it is larger, or did they just stamp a different size on the 3400??

wont fit totally different engine. the only step up from the 3400 is the 3500 which everything from the heads up you can use. do a search on that theres a few people who have done it.

yea the 3800 is a differnet block altogether. theres the 3500 and the 3900, but i dont think any has used the 3900 parts yet.

Probably, the 3300 is the little sister to the 3800:)

There is a guy on GAGT who swapped the 3500 top end onto his 3400, might wanna look him up.
