My dad was getting ready to trade his truck in for a new one, and I said no way!! I want it!! Its a '93 F-150 2WD Supercab/short bed XLT. Only 62,000 miles!! It has:

351/Auto OD with a K&N FIPK intake, dual Dynomax SuperTurbo exaust straight out the back with 20" long 3" dia. chrome tips, headers (Ford Motorsport I think) and underdrive pulleys.

XLT so it has power everything and options such as a tach, sliding rear window. It also has a rare 2 tone factory paint job on it (I've only seen one other like it) Dark Grey with a lower accent Black (along the bottom). It also has a nice hard fiberglass bed cover that is painted to match the truck.

He put some nice 16" reverse rim (deep) American Racing wheels and has almost brand new Dayton tires on them.

And the most important thing, he is obcessed with a clean vehicle. This truck looks better than the day it was new!!

It will look nice sitting in the driveway of our new house with my GAGT and my wifes new Tiburon....unfortunately, she usually claims the garage. The other half is still full of stuff that we moved and havent put away yet!! LOL!!! Looks like I just ended up with money pit vehicle #2.

Nice truck. I love trucks, especially Ford trucks. You need to post some pics of it! My bro has a '94 F250 XLT. Here is a pic.

Yeah, I like GM cars, but Ford trucks are the only thing I will consider. I helped dad build an addition on to their house, and refused to be paid for the work, so he sold me this truck for $2000 as a "thanks for the help"!! The only catch is I had to give him "ol faithful" (my 214,000 mile '88 Ranger, that still runs great) so he can haul dirty stuff around in it!! The F-150 is in absolutley imaculate shape, and I plan to keep it that way. I was with dad when he bought this truck at the Ford dealer new (I was 16 at the time). Kinda ironic I end up with it now, but its been cared for like a baby so I figure I cant go wrong. As for pics, I haven't even got a pic of my GA on here yet...money has been tight trying to build the new house and buying house stuff and appliances. As soon as things settle down a bit I will be getting a digital camera. BTW Red99gagt...your bro has an awesome truck!! I wish I could have dads new truck instead of my '93...its an '03 F-150 4x4 SuperCrew...loaded with the 5.4/Auto...its awesome!!

I wish I could say my bro took immaculate care of his truck. Oh well. Take care of it and it will take care of you is the way i look at it.

Congrats on the new house. Good luck with everything.

Yup, I have had 3 Rangers (the '98 that I heavily modded and ran the hell out of, with almost 75,000 miles, traded it in for my GA) , the '94 4-cyl that I had after HS and ran flawlessly for over 96,000 miles before I sold it, (my friend still owns it and it has almost 170,000 miles with just a new clutch) and my '88 that I bought about 4 years ago as my secondary vehicle (has run perfectly for over 214,000 miles)...cant beat a Ford truck!!
