Leather... + washed & waxed!!

I finally waxed my car - and then waited a few weeks :lol:... and then washed it and waxed it again today! So I took some pics.


I put some reflective badge overlays on the Grand Am, SE, & V6 badges. They look pretty sweet when they shine in headlights at night. But to give you the idea on camera, I did thus...

I'm still working on everything, guys. I really really really really really really really want to get my windows tinted but I just can't seem to gather up the money for it! Plus I still have to pay the dude who's doing my interior (which still isn't done and it's been about a month!) and he's being kind of a douchebag about it :evil:. Also, I want to get it lowered, but if I don't have the money for tint, then I really don't have the money for that, so yeah... Lol. I'm kind of stressed right now. But at least my car still looks good! Haha. :lol:

And I know that I should wait and do one thing at a time, but it seems like as soon as I put something on my list, I'm like, "I need to go get it done." I am insatiable! Lol. :lol: *sigh*

I don't know what kind of exhaust it is? My neighborhood Muffler Shop just chopped off the muffler :shock:... and kinda made up some tail pipes for me. Lol. And there you have it.

Yeah, just recently. I got them for $100 at a Salvage Yard. They are out of an '01 GT.

Yeah, I was very surprised, too! I walked into the office there and asked the guy for the stuff I needed (I was looking for a driver's window motor/regulator), and then thought I might ask about leather seats. I told him I had a '99 SE, and he said he had an '01 GT out in the yard that I could look at. I went out there, it had leather seats, and I needed sunvisors. So I went back and said I wanted them (I was ready to pay like $500+) and he said he usually gets $45 for each front seat... and then he stopped, and said, "I'll give you the whole set for $100." I was like, "I'LL TAKE IT!" Lol. So I left there with a window regulator = $55, sunvisors = $15, and a whole set of leather seats = $100, for about $180! I was happy!

Lol. I know I just told that whole story way longer than I needed to, but... it was an exciting event in my life. :lol:

Did you change the seats from cloth to leather? if so then AWESOME! I love my leather seats and definately adds to the car.

Also, I really like the Grand Am bagde on your dash, that looks really cool!

Yea you got a great deal on those seats. I was looking for some today and the only place i found wanted 600 bucks for them. So good for you hopefully you'll find more deals like that.
