I am new to the site. Have an 02 GT1 as my "family car" *wink*wink*. 3.4 with the functional ram air. I want to know if there is a bolt on supercharger that I can put on. Looking for about 4 - 8 LBS boost, ideally a paxton or vortech but not sure if they make a kit for the 3.4. Anyone have any insight for me? So far heads, pulleys, and exhaust done... I am running decent and pulling pretty good, just need a little "boost" is all :)

Welcome to the site!
RSM makes a super charger kit for our cars www.rsmracing.com
Do a search on this site and you'll find some good info
There are some companies that make also make turbo kits too...do a google search for "grand am turbo" and you'll get a couple.
BTW...if it's stock Ram Air...it's not functional :D

i say get cam and CAI before an s/c, but thats just me. i hear some bad stuff about RMS supercharger kits. search on here...youll find some issues.

I found it strange also that you have heads but you couldnt find a S/C. I can almost smell the BS through my screen.
If you have 'heads' then headers would be your next step....well mine.

LOL so let me get this straight, because I am not doing what you would do it is BS? Okay. Stock heads that have been ported and polished, not an aftermarket set. Like I said in my origional question, I only want idealy about 4 - 6 LB supercharger so the heads should not be an issue. So I apoligize if I did not go the route that most people would and do low budget bolt ons. I am not looking for 600HP, just a little boost to have a bit of fun with. And yes, I am looking at a full Borla kit, exhaust manifolds right to tips. I have only owned the car for about a month and a half, just sold my house, had a bit of play money so want to buy the large purchases now. Plus every kid on the street does cold air, pullets, and exhaust and thinks there's is the quickest, no matter what type of car it is. I am not that kid. I wont have the quickest, but with a 6LB s/c it will deffinetly hold its own. Again, I apoligize for not doing it your way.

Lot's of people including myself have p&p thier heads ... ;) Anyway , that RSM supercharger is known to have some issues , i've heard stories about bolts breaking on the drive etc. And the customer service is not what it could be .... Maybe want to research it a bit further before ordering one :D
