sweet set up. The exhaust does look like a tight fit but it looks good. I also like how your alpine deck is flush mounted too. Is that the one that the buttons light up blue etc? I have the Alpine 7894 and I like the feature where you can just have an amp for subs only so you have the bass hitting instead of the voice etc.

The buttons light up any color you want them too. I keep them red to match the car. Not only that but it wished u happy any holiday including your birthday. It was kind of weird when it told me happy birthday lol.

Yea Im not a big fan of the muffler either right now i kind of got talked into from the guy who made my exaust. But none the less the piping is done so i will eventually get a new muffler welded on.

Not bad at all. Time to carpet that box and clean up some of that wiring. NIce equipment, bet it sounds pretty good.

How does that Megan Racing Muuffler sound? I have their 4-1 header and race cat on my SI and love it. A bunch of my friends have newer Sentra Spec V's and all use Megans full exhaust and love them, but VERY loud.

Believe it or not even with a huge 4" tip it still has a nice deep tone to it. Not that ricey at all. I just am not a huge fan of the size of it. The box is getting covered with crushed red velvet I already have the material and and the crossovers will be put next to the rear speakers lit with LEDs. The custom Amp rack will also have an Ipod Dock built in for the Alpine Ipod adapter. I have all the materials I am just waiting for my friend to come home from college to help me finish it all up. Hopefully will be done in time for the Albany meet.

Yea so while I was away on vacation last week I left my car at my mechanic's. One of his guys decided to rip off my xtant amp, the two rockford capacitors my crossovers and the distribution block out of my trunk. Thank god I built the Sub box to big to fit out of the car  . We'll it seems its time to build a new system. Sadly I think im gonna have to hold off on albany till next year since It probably wont be ready.

sorry to hear about the loss. are you gonna sue the mechanic? you have a good case.

Just cause you don't have an audio system is no reason to skip albany!

Yea I dont know I have alot of work to do on the new system. Suggestions for new components to add in would be welcome. I still have my 2 12" L7s powered by my Alpine 1000w Digital. I'm thinking of replacing my speaker amp with Alpine's 500w Digital 4 channel since the Mono amp sounds great.

Id sue that shop for all they were worth, they are liable fo rthe car while it in their possession, and theft is never legal no matter wheer you work.

That really pisses me off :(

Ralph
06-27-2006, 05:36 PM
Yea I'm in the middle of a legal battle with the shop. It's a little bit difficult because the owner is a friend of the family but one of his workers put us all in a difficult situation. The price of the components together brings it up to the grand theft level.

car audio dave

honestly, thats why you never mix friends and business. his shop should have insurance for things like this, and he can turn around and fire his employee or sue him.
