I'd like to find a better way to mount my Zen mp3 player, but for now it just rests in the cupholder. Also, you can see a fingerprint on the heater blower switch area.... the reason for that is this;

Some moron decided to fix the broken knob with some putty... which not only didn't hold it on, but didn't even make it functional. I picked up a new knob from the dealer today for about $10, but I have to figure out how to get that print off there without removing the actual paint on it. I don't know if it was the dealer or the previous owner who tried to quick fix it like that, but pretty stupid way to save $10 if you ask me....

Yeah, just passed 100,000 miles today.

Interior is in generally good shape, just need to get the steam cleaner on the carpet when I get a chance.
Actually got a lot done today being my only day off all week... managed to touch up some chips in the paint, and rubbed out some yellow paint on the front bumper, and some black stuff on the rear one, both of which were there when I got it. Bought rear brake pads today too, which needs to be done SOON... only working with the front ones ATM. In general, the car's in really good shape for 100,000 miles, and having paid less than $5,000 for it. :D

Pretty sweet. Keep a watch out for things. Almost as soon as my '99 SE passed 100,000 miles, my power-steering took a shit. And the lights that illuminate my lisence plate at night went out. I had to change a brake light. And the actuater for my trunk to pop open does not work. So I have to use the key to get in. I love my car, but it seems like I'm always waiting for something else to go wrong with it. :(

The previous owner had apparently not sealed the driver's side taillight enclosure properly, and almost ALL of the lights on that side were not working due to rust and corrosion on the connections for the bulbs. I was able to get them all working using some brake cleaner to get rid of the rust, but I was driving with a tail light, brake light, reverse light, and blinker all out for nearly 3 weeks without even knowing it.

Great pictures.
A good holder for the ZEN, i dont know if it would fit this but you could try. They sell it at wal-mart, it says it can fit an ipod and thats what i got because i could put it where i could reach it Its sold in the car stereo dept. with a couple other ipod things. It has great strengths and very durable. I got the iPod when the 4th generations went out of style, more durable to me.
I eventually took it off and made it where it could hood up in my trunk with a stand to show my subs and people can just pick songs. (I know you dont like iPods but i have to say with the audio advances they have and audio features songs actually sound better coming through my ipod to my stereo, and the bass is more accurate)
Have you tried just plain soap and water. or a degreaser? Just looks for one that is safe.
Again, nice car.

and you didn't get pulled over for that??!! im suprised! it must be a Massachusetts thing then :(
Kristelle: that's devotion to a car :) usually when something like that happens to another person they try to sell the car and buy a new one.

Haha trust me, I was obviously just lucky to not have had any police behind me in that time. I work 52 hours a week, so I don't really have a lot of time to be out driving around anwyays. I've been pulled over for less (hell, I've been pulled over for nothing and had cops tell me "we don't need a reason to pull you over").
Thanks for the tip on the mp3 holder, I'll have to see what they have at the local department stores.

Yea, that's what GA's do
Your actuator might not work if that "safety latch" is engaged in the trunk.. So look at that first..
Back on topic... She looks good for 100K.. Treat her well :D

Thanks everyone... I have been treating the car very good... well, I tend to drive like a maniac at times, but it gets washed about every other day (I live on a dirt road and it's been raining constantly) and I've waxed it twice sine I got it a little over a month ago :P.

nice find. get that Lower Intake Manifold gasket checked out. 100% of the 3.4L engines have it at some point, most start to leak abour 34k miles. if your coolant levels are low, your water pump went bad (or has been replaced) or theres peanut butter inside your coolant reservoir, you have the leak.

It may have been fixed by the previous owner... I haven't had any problems with the coolant, and the coolant looks fine (or it did when I checked it a week or so ago), but I'll definitely have it looked at.
