What 99+ parts arent interchangeable?

Okay, I purchased my car used, quite a few scratches here and there so i figured ill just spend about 350 and get a new console and radio bezel in all, i purchased the bezel from a GAOC member, just got it in, but the radio slot is bigger than my current one. (99 SE 3400) It wont push in, will it not fit? Also on gmpartsdirect you can see exploded parts digrams... however, my console has just a sort of half bowl in front of the armrest storage, newer ones have the coffee cup/ashtray holder... can i purchase this one and have it bolt up right? Im wanting to do a SE to GT conversion as well but thats a whole nother story... Anyone know if all the 99+ really are interchangeable or not... im throwing a good ammount of money in the car, but i wouldnt like it to be for the hell of it. Thanks for any help.

I think you already found the part thats not interchangeable, the radio bezel, in 2001 they went to the double din style radio. Other than that I think most of the interior parts are interchangeable, as well as many of the exterior parts.

Now watch, someone will correct me and tell you a million things that are different. :lol:

Wouldnt you know it, lol. Paid 45 bucks for it to, not his fault. Aww, well. I'll just put it back up for sale with all the OEM stuff i replace once im done. Thanks for the quick response. Does anyone know the exact steps and parts needed to purchase for the SE to GT conversion? Also if theres any other parts i should look out for still... LOL, Im tired of returning things dammit. Zach, do you know if the console will fit... i know theres def. diffrences so i was JW.

Like I said, as far as I know the only part that is different is the radio bezel, but I'm not really the best one to ask.
