Just an opinion here... but I think the gray rims are as ugly as sin...... But that's only my opinion, and I don't know a heck of a lot about mods and such.....

I agree. A rim that is totaly black or totaly grey, looks terrible in my opinion.
Unless it's on a bike. :D

Gunmetal is kind of a hard color to replacat on ps, atlest for me. Here is a example of a gunmetal rim. It dark but its got a shin or sparkle to it when it hits the light. I think it would look really good on stunt101 car

If you end up doing this, make sure to post pics and give us some details. I have always wondered how much it would cost, and who to ask to have it done.

I was quoted at a local shop around 50$ per rim for powder coating them alblack (but with the lip remaining silver) - and then ~50$ more for them to machine/polish the lip to make it stand out more
THEN 20$ per wheel more to remove all the lip-mounted rim weights and place the rim weights on the inside of the rim, and then re-balance all 4 wheels.
Not bad, but more than Im willing to pay since my stockers are lame-ass 3 spokes.

LittleWhite.. Can you tell me what software you used on your sig? (the sprayed-over amber lens, I mean...) I was thinking of doing that to mine too, but don't know which software I can try. Thanks !

Yea I can, the program I used was photoshop. What I did to change the color was mess with the saturation and lightness

yea its lowered...thats a pic right after i finished lowering it...its lower now once the springs settled...im not sure what rims they r...i like them but they r not flashy enough for me...after having an expedition with 22s and lowered it seems like i can only go with chrome rims now...i actually wanna get rid of them when i get some new ones.

I saw some Eagle 077's for sale at clubgp.com that were powdercoated a gunmetal color, they looked pretty sweet.
