hi there, i want to change my dual tips to single ones and i guess i have to change my muffler too. is there one that will fit for sure? the guys at midas said nothing will work:(

Stop going to that midas, they are idiots.

Do a search, there are hundreds of options.

If you want to change the tips, yes you'll have to ditch the stock muffler too - they are integrated into one chode-tastic piece.

Sure it can be done. And the results will look great. Those stock tips rust & get pitted far too easily.

Changing them along with the stock muffler isn't hard or that expensive either. Find a better muffler shop as suggested.

find a different shop. the one i found cut off the factory, put on my new one for like 45ish.... the tips killed me though, that was another 40 (which isnt really bad)... but it can be done and midas yea, go somewhere else!

Look for a muffler shop that does mostly custom jobs, or performance mufflers.......:D

thanks guys! i ordered the parts and i can't wait to put them on. i also found the ram air hood i've been seaching for, and beleive it or not i got it for $50 at a junk yard. i have a friend that does alot of custom work he is repairing the hood and painting it for like $300. my car should be pretty sweet next week!

yeah midas is not a exhaust shop , they are there to take advantage of people, it shouldnt be too hard for a semi skilled welder to cut the tips and put on new ones
