My current rims- 18' 5 Zigen Rims... my feelings about my current rims- they are so-so...i like them because they have a simple 5 spoke look and thats the look i want for a clean looking car like mine :) ... the reason i don't like them, it has a very small lip, making the rims look smaller then 18's... (yeah im picky!)

well i came across a good deal, 18' Katana Chrome Rims with 225/40/18 tires, tires are in new condition, rims are in good condition, and after some bargaining, price for the rims are $500...pretty good deal :)

Heres where i need your help, should i keep my current rims?...OR should i get the chrome Katana's? .... keep in mind that if i were to buy the chrome ones, i could sell my rims for about the same price i bought the chrome ones for, so i wouldnt really be paying much more for the chrome ones

Here are my current rims

Those rims look the same. I can see the difference, but I still think they're the same.

Your car is pretty flashy - bright red and fully kitted...hottt. Of the two, i'd say go with the chrome.

Personnally, I'd keep the current ones.

They look way too much alike for it to really be worth the change...

I liked those 19's you posted about somewhere else

i like the chrome ones better. i got mine becuase they dont have a lip and they look like at least 18s, sometimes 19s.

your car is one of the few GAs that would look good on 19s. you may wanna consider that.

CHROOOMMMEEE, The extra shine would set your car off even more! Your current wheels look good.. but they dont match the killer shine of the paint as well as the chrome ones would.

I think I like the ones you have now better, but if you're looking for a change then I think the new pair would look good, too.

Change for the sake of change is silly... keep the ones you have. They look better and probably weigh less.

TRUST ME IVE CONSIDERED THAT!...lol....i can't go with 19's because during one of my accidents...my passanger side wheel is pushed back about an inch...and so is the rear....19's do fit..but they are a super tight fit...therefore with the wheel being pushed back an inch...its not going to fit properly...it will probbaly rub...and if i wanted to get it fixed...it would be ALOT of money...so im gonna have to stay with the 18's :(

Why not put the $500 for new wheels towards fixing your car?

the $500 going into the new rims would be refunded back once i sell my own rims....thats a win win situation....as for fixing the car...theres nothing wrong with it...drives fine...im not going to pay someone $1000-2000+ to pull on the frame just to push the rim back 1' back into place... :finger3:

its the frame...i wish it was the control arm....and i had thought it was that too....but once i took everything off to inspect the control arm...and it was as good as new....so its the frame :( ...

keep your current rims save the 500 bucks for something else that you might want later. You got one of the cleanest nicest 4th Gen GA's around,no need for change.

where is it bent at? behind the wheel I take it or is it in front of the wheel.

I had an 84 caddy the frame was bent in front of the wheel and they straightened out for 200 dollars and my friends 98 gagt had gotten hit in the front end and pushed both wheels back about an inch or and they only charged him 450 for it.

Must suck though. Is your alignment off at all, I would think it would screw up the caster adjustments on it

lol...i dont think some people understand....im not losing $500, i would buy them, then resell my own rims and make my money back...at most ill spending an extra $50-100 for better looking rims that are chrome that don't have alot of curb marks on them...lol
