This is for anybody, but fbod383 specifically. I have seen several of your posts where you say you're running SBC springs and retainers. If that's true, what are the specific part numbers of the springs, retainers, and locks? Also, what are the specs on the springs? I have found several springs with the correct pressures and heights, but I haven't been able to find any to work with the 7mm stems. Any help/info is greatly appreciated! Thanks,

Just springs. I used stock retainers. Its good to have them cryotreated. It cost me about $20 to have all 16 done and locks.
Crane PN# is 99846-16

Hey Bryson so how is the Turbo project coming? Do you have it all together or still working on it?

The project is coming along...I've got everything back from being cryoed and my shortblock is at the machine shop getting balanced and the head is getting its final hone and O-ring. I finished porting and polishing the head, but I need to see if the stock retainers will work with the springs I'm buying. The turbo, bov, TEC 3, and intercoolers just came in. It should be together in no more than 2 months!! I'll keep everyone posted. Fbod, thanks for the info; how long have you been running your setup for? The springs we are looking at buying are .006" larger ID (if I remember correctly), so if the stock retainers worked for you they may work for us too. The only bad thing is that we already got everything cryoed, and didn't put the retainers with the other stuff. I REALLY hope this works, my dad can take a look at one of the springs today and he has a retainer with him, so I can post back later with what we're doing.
