If i replace my stock intake with any cai into my car, will that void my cars warranty, i know i could always put back the stock when i need to get my car checked at the dealership, thats just a question that popped up in my mind.
Also, when i get my cai, do i REALLY need a aftermarket MAF to get any benefit out of the cai. Im not expecting any type of noticable gains with just a cai, but Im also getting a cat-back system for my car, but with regard to the cai, i can't easily change it back and forth.... so ill wait till my warranty ends!
Thanks!

Matt, please don't hijack someones thread...it's rude. Do a search and find out where to get the stuff...and if you still have a new question about it...then start your own thread.

Thanks! Will, A CAI or exhaust system won't void a warrenty. The only thing a dealership can do is not cover any work under warrenty if the problem was CAUSED by the modification. For example, if you put a performance cam on the engine, and the A/C compressor goes...they would still have to cover it, because the cams won't cause th compressor to die. But if a valve gets bent or something, then they can blame it on the cam and it won't be covered.
You will notice some gains with the CAI at the top end. And like stated before, you don't need a new MAF. :)
