View Full Version : Outside Mirror Application Question
Will twin post (dual post) outside power mirrors from a 2001 Grand Am GT fit, without modification, on a 2005 Grand Am GT?
Inquiring minds want to know. Besides, my wife hates the stock '05 outside mirrors.

^ what he said.
Thanks. Appreciate the quick responses. Now there will be peace in the land, once I get my wife set up with the dual post mirrors.

I know the solid black ones are so ugly, never could figure out why they did that change.

It was probably cheaper, plus the two-posters have a habit of breaking in automatic car washes. I do agree though, the new ones are ugly and I can't wait to get my own two-post mirrors painted myself.
So, are you painting them or just having them put on plastic black?

i suggest getting them painted profesionally. i painted mine (sanded, primered, wet sanded, painted, glossed) and its chipping pretty bad.
