Is there anything wrong with the one you have?
Do you want the new engine complete or only a short block or long block?

Why?

A new 3400 from GM is going to cost about $3000-$5000? And thats not with a complete engine.

58,000miles?....it's just broken in! Don't change it unless you need to...absolutely no point other than to spend money for no reason. Hell if you want to just blow money, you can buy my new kitchen for me.

I don't see any point to replacing an engine with such low mileage unless it has major mechanical issues.

I agree, its like your throwing money away, if you feel like you need it brought back to life or something why dont you do a rebuild with some performance parts on the one you own now? But, yea in my opinion, i dont think you need anything of the sort. I have a 2002 with 75,000 and its still going strong.

^It would be even more pointless to install a used one.
