once in a while when it's plugged in it will go CRAZY. there will be nothing around. Light signal on X band then stronger and strongest. Immediately changes to Ka. same thing.
Any help?

It would help to have model name and model number and such...google it to see if there have been problems with it....
thats all you can do right now.

Could be a cell tower mine will do pick them up in certain areas. But yes what make and model do you have???
Satellite radio and television transmissions, cell tower signals (as mentioned by AAS SC/T), dirty radar detectors, and other mobile communication devices can have an affect on most radar detectors. What brand and model do you have?

im pretty sure its the Cobra ESD 9550 but an earlier model. i dont have the compass option or anything
