I am getting ready to replace my muffler on my GA and was wanting to get some of your opinions on which muffler will give me the best of both worlds (performance and sound). I have a 3100 V6 and for right now I am keeping the stock size piping which is 2.25" and I am also keeping it single exhaust. I am however doing away with the cat and the resonator because I want as little restriction as possible. If yall have any sound clips of your vehicles that would be awsome and thank you for your time, this is a great family to be a part of...

Thankx, Corey

Just a muffler alone isn't gonna net you much in the way of performance . And niether is removing the CAT ( unless it's plugged ) Look into a good CAT back system with mandrel bent pipe ..

Just a muffler will NOT improve performance.

I replaced mine and I didn't notice a difference in performance (when I went to the track yesterday) and I noticed NO difference in Fuel economy.

A Cat back is needed.
