Need some fitment help

Alright I have a 93 GA 4 door lowered on ST springs. First I need ot know if anyone has put aftermarket wheels on the same setup and if so what was the largest tire with offset wheel they put on. If not what is the offset and how large a tire can I put on a 7in wide wheel 17 inch diameter. Right now it is on factory 205/55/16 I would like to put 225 45 17 due to the similarity in overall height, but I want no rubbing....Any suggestions? Thanks in advance

225/45/17 with 40 offset should work fine .

I'm using 215/45/17 with Intrax lowering springs... no fitment/rubbing probs.

You can always go to your local discount tire or americas tire company and they will help you out with anything you need. they do free test fitting and all that good stuff.
