Does anyone else ever notice that when you drive another vehicle you are trying to stick the key in the dash instead of the side if the steering column? LOL!! After driving my GA for a few days, it was raining today and I kept reaching for the automatic gear shifter on my F-150 to turn on the wipers!! Anyway, what I was wondering is if anyone has had the dash worn below the ignition location due to your keys rubbing on it while you drive? I took all my keys and made a seperate ring with just my car key and gas cap key on it to drive the car with. Just seems to me that the constant rubbing of a full key ring would wear off the grey dash area under the ignition on a GA.

Yes I have noticed that. And people that have it on the steering wheel always try to stick the key there and I have to show them. I really like the ignition on the dash I think its a lot better

I like having the switch on the dash much better than on the column. I can never seem to find the switch on my wife's Escort. And her wiper switch is backwards (same place but to turn them up you push down instead of up on our cars).

Man I hate that. It is the same in our Tacoma. Keys both on dash so no problem there but the wiper thing. UGHHH! My wife laughs at me every time.

Mine is on the column, but at work I drive a few different vehicles on a regular basis, a 98 intrigue, a 99 blazer and a 99 lumina. So, I am used to almost any configuration. I am not reaching for something in a different place than what it is. I guess I just got used to it...
