Just picked myself up a new sub and a new amp along with a box, and a way to scure it in my trunk.
Sub is a Pioneer Premier TS-W3002SPL. 1000watts @ 1ohm RMS, DVC< bitchin' magnets and aluminum basket...the works.
The amp is a Crossfire BMF 1000D, which is also 1000watts RMS @ 1ohm. It's a very nice amp. Came from a van that had 12 of them in it, powering 12 BMF XT215 Subs. The thing was LOUD.

Visually, kinda unimpressive (which doesn't bother me) and a little dirty right now. However it SOUNDS ****ing incredible. Even with the stock CD player it's VERY loud and VERY precise. Goes great with just about any music.
Bought it all from a friend for $400 (sub is $300 new and the amp was $750 new :eek:). He built the box, and installed a new LOC, 2ga. wiring, and a 100amp breaker under the hood. Pretty smoking deal IMO. And I couldn't be happier.
Now I just need to pick up a new deck. A friend of mine has a nice Alpine for sale that I might buy but we'll see.
